Jim’s Mowing continues to deliver Horticulture qualifications in partnership with Bendigo Kangan Institute at Richmond, Melbourne, Australia. Classes typically run part time of an evening from March thru to September each year. The Jims Mowing Horticulture training has ran at the Bendigoo Kangan Institute for the past 15 years without fail and is just for Jim’s Mowing Franchise owners. Course Modules
The course modules have been refined over the years and include such subjects as plant and weed identification, weed management and Lawn Care. Landscaping subjects are also included in the 15 module plan like paving, retaining wall building and turf laying techniques to name a few.

In conjunction with Bendigo Kangan Institute, Jim’s Mowing are very proud to constantly fine tune their teaching program. The results of this long term partnership are that a majority of Melbourne Franchise owners now hold Horticulture qualifications. This continues to grow each year.

Franchise owners have also travelled up from Gippsland and Ballarat. In addition the practical training sessions held at the Broadmeadows campus have resulted in greater learning outcomes for the Jim’s Mowing Franchise owners.
